Terram, Moviment Nòmada and Nousol are working together to organize a cooperation project in Nepal. The main objective is to assist reconstruction in the medium, long term. On Tuesday 9th of June, one of our members traveled to the country to cooperate with the humanitarian aid that is already being carried out and pave the way for developing a future project cooperation by our collectives.
We are currently coordinating our efforts with the support group Hugging Nepal (www.huggingnepal.org) and the NGO Be Human Nepal (www.behumannepal.org). We are also working to build partnerships with others and in-situ groups. We all pursue a common goal, to help people regain their lives which unfortunately have been badly affected by the devastating earthquake that hit the country.

In the recent days, the relief work has focused on providing food, medical care and emergency shelter to the affected population in order them to withstand the heavy rains that are expected with the arrival of the monsoon. Once these needs are covered, we will focus our efforts on developing architectural reconstruction projects.
In the coming days we will provide first-hand reports about the situation in the country as well as the tasks realized, and we look forward to your support so that together we can make possible that Nepal recovers his smile.
